Position: Pharmacy Delivery Driver
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 7 days per week (roster basis)
Location: Commencing in Manly, traveling around Sydney
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and punctual Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making urgent pharmacy deliveries to customers within the local area, ensuring medications and pharmaceutical products reach their destination safely and on time. This is a fast-paced role requiring a strong sense of urgency, excellent time management, and a commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver pharmacy orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner, prioritising urgent deliveries
- Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and minimise wait times for customers
- Handle pharmaceutical products with care, ensuring they are stored and transported in accordance with relevant guidelines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery where required
- Communicate professionally with pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times
- Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
About You
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence (full licence required)
- Own vehicle preferred
- Availability to work shifts between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, up to 7 days per week on a rotating roster
- Strong knowledge of the local area and road networks
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential deliveries with discretion
- Reliable mobile phone for communication and GPS navigation
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or a similar role
- Experience working in or with a pharmacy or healthcare setting
