About the role:
As a Mower Operator, you’ll be working across a range of maintained turf and open spaces, operating modern mowing equipment and supporting the upkeep of high-traffic public and commercial areas. You’ll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering safe, clean, and high-standard results every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining large turf and sports field areas using ride-on reel and rotary mowers
- Operating whipper snippers, edgers, blowers, and hand tools
- Carrying out basic preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Ensuring safe work practices in all environments, including high-traffic areas
- Completing site checks, reports, and scheduled maintenance tasks
- Working to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in landscape maintenance or parks & gardens, or working towards qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Confidence using ride-on mowers and landscaping equipment (desirable)
- Valid driver’s licence and White Card (MR licence desirable)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, time management, and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
