Australian Concrete Cutting & Coring is a growing Western Australian contractor specialising in concrete surface preparation, polishing and resin flooring solutions across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions. Due to continued business growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking experienced Floor Finishers to join our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
- Measure floor areas and interpret plans and specifications to determine material and labour requirements.
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks and defects, removing existing floor coverings and coatings, and undertaking surface preparation works.
- Operate concrete grinding, honing and polishing equipment using diamond abrasives and specialised tooling to achieve specified surface finishes.
- Apply densifiers, stains, sealers and protective coatings to concrete flooring in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Mix and apply resin flooring systems, including epoxy and polyurethane coatings, to commercial and industrial floors.
- Install and finish decorative concrete overlays and resurfacing systems where required.
- Inspect completed flooring installations to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Maintain flooring equipment, tools and work areas in a safe, clean and serviceable condition.
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures at all times.
Role Requirements
- At least one to two years relevant experience as a Floor Finisher or in concrete polishing and resin flooring.
- Demonstrated experience in concrete grinding, polishing, sealing and resin flooring applications.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence. Current Construction White Card.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime, after-hours and weekends when required.
Desirable
- Certificate III or equivalent trade qualification in flooring or a related construction field.
- Experience with epoxy, polyurethane and decorative concrete flooring systems.
- Additional construction industry tickets or licences.
- Traffic Management, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Confined Space or Working at Heights tickets are advantageous.
Successful applicants will be required to complete:
- Pre-employment medical assessment.
- Drug and alcohol screening.
- Police clearance where required for client sites.
