Favourhill Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to support a 15-year-old participant in Yarrabilba.
This is an opportunity to build a genuine, long-term relationship with a young person who thrives with consistency and structured support.
About the Participant
The participant is a 15-year-old male with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3)
- Severe Intellectual Disability
- ADHD
He enjoys cooking, benefits from routine, and responds well to patient, relationship-based support.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing engaging 1:1 community and in-home support
- Assisting with cooking and structured activities
- Attending speech therapy telehealth sessions
- Supporting the implementation of therapy strategies
- Building a positive, trusting relationship with the participant
There is also the opportunity to support his 17-year-old brother (ASD Level 2) in the future if a good rapport is established.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting participants with Autism and complex support needs
- Is patient, calm, and engaging
- Can provide consistent, long-term support
- Values person-centred, relationship-based care
- Is reliable and committed to making a positive impact
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Right to work in Australia
