Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver independent high level Social Work clinical practice, demonstrating a high level of professional autonomy, critical thinking and accountability. Manage a complex and high-risk caseload with minimal direct supervision, applying expert clinical judgement and adapting practice based on contemporary evidence and best practice standards.
Undertake specialist psychosocial assessment, formulation and intervention in the Emergency Department and across acute services, recognising the critical role of social work in addressing the social determinants of health and improving holistic patient outcomes.
Provide 24/7 rostered Social Work services, including face-to-face clinical interventions and telephone consultation across SCHHS facilities, ensuring timely access to specialist psychosocial support for patients, families and staff.
Remuneration value up to $41 410 p.a, comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Part time position, 20 hrs p.f.).
