Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in capacity planning, identifying risks early, and proactively managing workload pressures.
- Lead claims continuity during high-pressure periods, including leave and operational disruptions, with tangible accountability.
- Drive operational improvements by designing workflows that optimise capacity and skill matching.
- Identify emerging capacity pressures early and implement proactive solutions.
- Lead operational reporting, including cycle times, backlog, capacity utilisation, and disruption analysis.
- Foster operational resilience and process improvements to optimise broker productivity and client outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing claims operations within a commercial environment (property, liability, PI, motor).
- Strong understanding of claims workflows, intake, and capacity management.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence in a complex, multi-team setting.
- Ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated resilience during operational disruptions and workforce fluctuations.
- Experience in roles requiring cross-functional influence rather than direct authority.
