Adaptalift looks after customer and company-owned equipment and provides breakdown services, fault finding and preventive and routine maintenance services on this equipment
across the western and northern Melbourne area.
We are seeking a
Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter with experience working on heavy equipment, mobile plant, access equipment or similar to join our team
in Truganina.

What will you be doing?
- Fault finding, troubleshooting & problem-solving breakdowns
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing
- Utilising your technical skills to problem solve
- Visiting our customers on their sites, providing a high-quality & safe service
- Collaborating with your team on large overhauls and commissions
Here's what it takes:
- Solid experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or HD Fitter within the Heavy Equipment industry (Transport, Construction, Agricultural Machinery or Mining)
- Solid background in servicing, diagnostics and hydraulics
- Ability to carry out a physical role with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- A strong commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills
- You hold a current Driver Licence
- Mechanical Trade Qualification such as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
