Emergency Services, Malaga WA
When disasters strike, communities rely on the strength and readiness of our emergency services. Behind every response is a team of people who make sure our vehicles start, our equipment works and our depot is ready to mobilise at a moment’s notice. This role is at the heart of that readiness.
As Maintenance Coordinator, you ensure our fleet, trailers, plant and equipment are safe, reliable and ready to support first responders and community members affected by fires, floods, storms and other emergencies. Your work directly enables our teams to show up with confidence, compassion and practical support when people need it most. This is a role where your organisation, care and attention to detail genuinely change lives.
The Maintenance Coordinator oversees the maintenance, servicing and operational readiness of all SAES plant, vehicles, trailers and equipment. You will work closely with contractors, mechanics and the TSA Property Department to ensure everything is compliant, safe and functioning at its best. You will also have access to pool vehicles when required for operational tasks.
You will support depot operations, coordinate volunteers for maintenance tasks and contribute to emergency response activities when needed. This role suits someone who enjoys hands on work, thrives in fast paced environments and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly for the benefit of others.
This permanent full-time position is within the SAES Response WA team, reporting to the SAES Response Coordinator. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 4.
