The opportunity
Join our Corporate Human Resources team as a Human Resources Consultant, reporting to the HR Lead - Transitions & Operations. This role delivers efficient, accurate and customer focused HR services across the employee lifecycle, combining practical HR guidance with high quality recruitment, employment administration and operational support.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, respond directly to routine people and employment queries, and appropriately escalate complex, sensitive or higher risk matters. You will also contribute to a positive employee experience and help ensure HR services are delivered consistently, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities

Provide responsive HR Operations support to employees, managers and stakeholders across the employee lifecycle.

Respond to routine people and employment queries, including foundational guidance on HR policies, employment conditions, entitlements and processes, and escalate complex or higher risk matters where required.

Coordinate recruitment activities with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to support a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Coordinate onboarding, employment contracts, variations and other employment administration, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Maintain accurate employee information and records, support people systems and reporting, and help protect data integrity and compliance.

Support workforce programs, transitions and broader HR initiatives through effective coordination and operational support.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, technology and service delivery, including the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies.
About You
-
A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Experience in HR Operations, administration or coordination within a fast paced environment.

Working knowledge of HR practices, with the ability to interpret and provide foundational guidance on policies, employment conditions, entitlements and processes.

Strong customer service, communication and relationship building skills, with a practical and solutions oriented approach.

Sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality, including the ability to recognise when matters require escalation or specialist HR advice.

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation and data.

Confidence using HR, recruitment and business systems, together with adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
