We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Payroll Officer to join our Lismore team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident supporting both the finance function and the wider team.
Working closely with branch leadership, you'll play an important role in managing accounts receivable, payroll, and general finance activities while providing guidance and support to the administration team.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:36 PM.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced accounts professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of customer accounts and payroll while assisting with general accounting functions and supporting continuous improvement within the branch.
We're looking for someone who can work independently, bring strong accounting knowledge, and confidently guide others when needed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations

Process weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time

Reconcile customer accounts, bank accounts, and general ledger transactions

Monitor outstanding debtor balances and follow up overdue accounts

Support month-end reporting and finance administration

Assist with accounts payable and general accounting duties as required

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures

Provide support and guidance to the administration team

Work closely with branch management and the wider finance team to improve processes and maintain efficient operations
About You

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or Accounting role

Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes

Experience processing payroll in a busy business environment

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

A collaborative approach with the confidence to support and guide other team members

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with Pronto ERP will be highly regarded but is not essential
