About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to join the Rapid Access to Community Care team, delivering efficient and high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You'll manage referrals, maintain accurate data across multiple systems, and provide professional communication to support timely, coordinated patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Rapidly assess, identify, establish and implement an array of precise and effective record management systems and processes, to accurately capture and document all referrals, encounters, correspondence and patient charts within the Unit.
Efficiently operate call centre equipment by responding professionally to incoming calls to the unit, ensuring the caller is assisted, transferred or redirected correctly and within a timely manner.
Build relationships with consumers and stakeholders using strong communication skills and negotiation skills to understand consumer's or stakeholder's needs.
Accurately and efficiently register patients and clients in various electronic programs/databases.
