About the Role
We are seeking motivated and industry-current Trainers and Assessors to deliver and assess:
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
Location: Port Melbourne, VIC
Employment Options: Casual, Contract, and Full-Time opportunities available (depending on availability and training schedules).
What You'll Bring Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) or equivalent vocational competency at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent qualification that meets current trainer and assessor requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Valid White Card
- Current Working with Children Check
- Valid National Police Check
- Demonstrated industry currency and ongoing professional development in line with Standards for RTOs 2015 (Clauses 1.13–1.16)
- Strong understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, including SRTO 2015 Standards and ESOS National Code requirements
- Experience delivering training programs aligned with Training Package requirements
- Experience developing and validating learning and assessment resources
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess units of competency within the Certificate III in Carpentry program
- Support students in achieving successful course progress and outcomes
- Follow approved Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate and reliable student records and assessment documentation
- Review and continuously improve training and assessment practices
- Participate in validation and quality assurance activities
- Maintain an up-to-date Trainer Matrix and professional development records
- Work collaboratively with the Academic and Student Support teams
