As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Area Manager to support our leadership teams and drive quality, compliance and operational excellence across all Kids Cave services.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position that will work closely alongside the Approved Provider, Nominated Supervisors and leadership teams across multiple services.
The successful applicant will play a critical role in ensuring every service consistently operates at the highest possible standard by providing mentoring, coaching, guidance and expert compliance support.
This role is about developing leaders, strengthening teams and embedding a culture of continuous improvement—not simply auditing compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to Nominated Supervisors and leadership teams.
- Regularly attend and support all Kids Cave Early Education services.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and the National Quality Framework.
- Support services to consistently implement Kids Cave policies, procedures and best practice.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist services in preparing for Assessment and Rating.
- Support investigations, incident management and regulatory notifications where required.
- Provide practical guidance to educators and leaders in relation to legislation, child protection, staffing, documentation and operational practices.
- Work collaboratively with leadership teams to develop action plans and achieve organisational goals.
- Promote consistency, accountability and high-quality practices across all services.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Early Childhood Teacher).
- Leadership or Management qualification (or working towards).
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the early childhood education and care sector.
- Extensive leadership experience within approved education and care services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standard and Approved Learning Frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently interpret and apply legislation in day-to-day operations.
- Outstanding understanding of policies, procedures and governance.
- Excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between services.

Pay: $45.00 – $51.00 per hour
