Due to continued project requirements, we are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our team for ongoing work across Perth Inner City suburbs, South of the River and Regional Western Australia.
About the Role
You will be responsible for steel fixing works on civil and construction projects, including:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate placement and fixing of steel reinforcement.
- Cut, bend, position, and secure reinforcing steel bars and mesh in accordance with project specifications and requirements.
- Fixing and tying reinforcement for footings, slabs, walls, columns and other concrete structures
- Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard
- Working effectively with supervisors and other site personnel
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Steel Fixer
- Construction White Card
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and bar schedules
- Good understanding of construction site safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
- Willingness to travel and work on regional projects as required
Location: Perth Inner City, South of the River & Regional WA
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per annum
