Our Practice:
Gladstone Veterinary Clinic is a small animal clinic that provides excellent, modern, compassionate and professional veterinary care for pets in the Gladstone region and beyond. The dedicated and passionate team have helped thousands of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, and even a few snakes, making them an integral and trusted part of the local community.
We are looking for a passionate and positive All-Rounder Vet Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. We are offering a 9-day fortnight, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and no weekend work!
Key Responsibilities:
- Animal care, handling, hospital treatments

Reception duties, delivering excellent care to patients and owners

Assisting with anaesthetics, surgery, and patient monitoring

Maintaining hospital hygiene and cleanliness of surgical areas and equipment

Pre- and post-operative patient care

General nursing, blood collection and laboratory sample processing
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in veterinary nursing (monitoring patients and anaesthetics is essential).

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care Certificate (II or III) is highly ideal, but qualifications are not essential if you have the right hands-on experience.

The ability to work as part of a team

Previous experience monitoring patients and anaesthetics

Previous reception experience will be beneficial
