Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) offers Specialist Anaesthetists with a paediatric anaesthesia sub-speciality the opportunity to work in a vital and innovative department in tropical North Queensland. Anaesthetists here have the opportunity to deliver high quality anaesthetic and perioperative care to patients of the tertiary referral Townsville University Hospital, with a special focus on Paediatric and Neonatal Anaesthesia.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
Qualified as a medical practitioner with specialist qualifications and registration, or eligible for registration, as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia in the appropriate discipline.
This position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.
Candidates who will be obtaining fellowship in the near future are encouraged to apply. Appointment will be at a lower classification level until minimum requirements for the Staff Specialist classification are obtained.
A class C motor vehicle licence.
