Kirinari’s RISE Training Social Enterprise has a very simple vision for the future; it is an Australia in which people facing barriers to employment are fully included in the workforce. Kirinari’s mission is to support people to live a good life, and RISE training plays a crucial part of this through supporting regional Australians to successfully secure mainstream employment, through the targeted intervention of a work-based training program. RISE Training’s work-based program is delivered through an employment capability framework developed by Jigsaw Australia.
This is a Full-Time position - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
The Operations Lead is responsible for the delivery of training and work experience activities to RISE Trainees and Paid Trainees. They supervise and support Trainers to deliver training and work experience activities to RISE Trainees and Paid Trainees and ensure that all training and activities are journaled and signed-off in our systems. They are responsible for the high quality and timely completion of RISE’s business contracts. They supervise assigned Paid Trainees and Trainees to deliver on contracts, produce high quality work that exceeds client requirements whilst providing an employment experience to Trainees and Paid Trainees that will set them up for success in mainstream employment.
The Operations Lead is also responsible for supporting the Training Manager (the Manager) in several operational aspects of running the program. They are responsible for the general office operations, assistance with rostering and hub maintenance, supporting the team with incident management, providing strategies to support the effective delivery of the training program and play a significant role in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
About You

A relevant qualification Training/Teaching/Allied Health

2 plus years previous experience in a position with transferable skills to the position.

Demonstrated experience leading a team.

Experience in Training and Development and or Employment Services an advantage.

Experience within the document and data management industry a plus.

Possess a working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
-
A passion for (and/or experience with) working with people with disability.
-
Desire to help others learn and an understanding of learning challenges.

Creative approach to problem-solving.

Hands on approach with solid ICT skills and system use.

High bandwidth for multi-tasking.

Natural aptitude for leading a team.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

Have the right to work in Australia.

Possess a current satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children Check

Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Possess and maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications

Drivers Licence
