Right now, the company is experiencing exciting growth across the country, creating a new opportunity for Senior Tactical Data Link FSR. The Joint Interface Control System, located in Canberra, will consolidate multiple Tactical Data Links into a strategic Situational Awareness and Command and Control System.
This exciting and challenging, Canberra based role involves providing operational support in the forms of training and mentoring, and support to operations.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to assist the system users to expand their knowledge of the JIC Systems capabilities and functions.

Resolve Tactical Data Link technical issues that may arise.

Provide on-site support (training and mentoring),
-
Field support to test and training activities, and
-
Perform helpdesk duties.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
-
At least 6 years’ experience in Tactical Data Link operations.
-
COMSEC / High Assurance Crypto Equipment (HACE) experience.
-
Operation of tactical and strategic RF communication equipment.
-
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate concepts and provide technical system functionality descriptions.

Development, and update of mixed media training materials.
-
When required delivery of training and ongoing mentoring of the operator workforce.

Support training planning and coordination activities.
-
Attends conferences for users and support groups (customer and industry).
-
Develop and present operational briefings on capability.
-
Identify and recommend modifications and upgrades to hardware, software and processes.
-
Attends ongoing and advanced training to enhance knowledge of TDL.
-
Support Tactical Data Link Operational Plan (multi TDL) development.
-
Ability to travel in support of Australian domestic tasks.
