About the Role
As Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, leading the team, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day cafe operations
- Supervise and support cafe staff
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage stock control and ordering
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Handle cash management and daily reporting
- Resolve customer enquiries and operational issues
- Foster a positive and productive team environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cafe / Restaurant / Hospitality Manager / Venue Supervisor role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Valid Australian work rights
Preferred Skills
- Ability to speak Thai is highly desirable, as the role involves regular communication with Thai-speaking customers and team members.
- Experience in a busy cafe or hospitality environment.
- Available to commence work immediately.
