Monday to Friday, 8 hour days | Kemps Creek, Sydney
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics and technicians with maintenance, servicing, and repairs of earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks).
- Clean and prepare parts and equipment for repairs or inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Perform routine workshop tasks such as fluid top-ups, filter changes, machine fuelling and greasing.
- Support stock control by receiving, storing, and retrieving parts and tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Complete basic documentation and reporting as required
Skills & Experience
Essential Licence or Qualifications:
- Car licence
- Forklift (desirable)
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a mechanical or workshop environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual Labor.
- Construction White Card (desirable).
