In this hands-on role, you’ll play an important part in the establishment, care, and ongoing maintenance of the orchards while building valuable skills and experience within the horticulture industry.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, working closely with the Orchard Manager and Leading Hands, you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, taking on a range of tasks that help keep our orchards productive and successful.
- Engage in hands-on, physically demanding farm work with diverse tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and proactive reporting of safety hazards.

Be part of the cycle by planting, pruning, picking, and harvesting throughout the year.

Operate farm machinery with comprehensive on-farm training to build your skills.

Assist with herbicide and pesticide applications to ensure healthy crops.

Assist with vegetation management and irrigation.

Uphold work health and safety standards in every aspect of your role.

Requirements

A valid C-class driver’s license is essential, manual is desirable.

Previous farm work experience is a bonus.

A Chemical Users Certificate, Chainsaw Ticket and High-Risk Work Licences are desirable.

Qualifications like Certificate II/III in Rural Studies, Horticulture, or Agriculture will give you an edge.
