About the Role
We are seeking a female support worker to support a young participant based in Niagara Park.
This role focuses on building the participant’s independence with daily routines, particularly morning preparation and school attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with morning routine, including prompting and encouragement
- Support the participant to get ready for school
- Provide safe and reliable transport to school
- Encourage independence and confidence in daily living skills
- Provide a calm, structured, and supportive environment
About the Participant
The participant is a thoughtful and creative young person who enjoys:
- Playing games on her phone and iPad
- Watching YouTube (gaming content)
- Spending time with her dog
- Anime, drawing, and learning about Japan
- Gardening and going for walks
- Conversations around mental health and social justice
She benefits from a support worker who is patient, engaging, and able to provide gentle structure and encouragement.
Shift Details
- Immediate start available
Essential Requirements
- Female support worker (as requested by participant/family)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
