As a Casual Catering Assistant, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents at Aminya Centre. You’ll support daily kitchen operations by preparing light refreshments, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your work helps residents feel cared for, respected and at home.
Key responsibilities include:
Food service, table service and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
Assisting with food preparation and reheating meals as directed
Ensuring correct meals reach residents at the right time and temperature
Supporting dietary needs and following the site Food Safety Program
Operating POS/EFTPOS when required
Working safely and following WHS and infection control procedures
The Catering Assistant role operates under the following shift times:
6am - 2pm
1pm - 7.30pm
9.30am - 5.30pm
