Location: Bentleigh, Victoria
Disability Connect Victoria is seeking an experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide community-based support to female participants in Bentleigh.
We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and has experience supporting people with behaviours of concern, mental health conditions and complex support needs.
The role will initially involve:

Approximately 2 shifts per week
- Starting at around 2 hours per shift
- Shifts may be up to 7 hours
- Hours are expected to increase as supports become established
- Days are currently flexible and will be arranged around participant needs
- Commencing August 2026
Flexibility and availability to take on additional hours as the role develops will be highly regarded.
Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting participants with daily living activities
- Community access and social participation
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Meal preparation
- Domestic assistance
- Providing behaviour support in line with individual support plans
- Supporting participants with mental health and complex needs
- Working independently in the community
- Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
We are looking for applicants who have:

Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
- Experience supporting people with mental health conditions
- Experience working with participants with complex needs
- Confidence working independently in the community
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, professional and person-centred approach
- Reliability and flexibility as participant hours increase
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Evidence of Australian working rights
