Key Duties:
- Develop and maintain allocated segments of the Queensland (QLD) Kleemann sales operations;
- Monitor stock levels of machines and ensure adherence to required levels;
- Utilise Wirtgen Group Solutions (WGS) to calculate machine pricing and managing Sales margins;
- Collect and record market share and lost sales data in a timely manner utilising WGS and the Company Customer Relations Management (CRM) database;
- Complete and submit company activity and sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis;
- Liaise with Service and Parts operations to ensure all Kleemann service and parts requirements are being communicated for action;
- Establish, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territory to grow market share;
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to generate new business leads;
- Actively research opportunities for expanding customer base in particular ways to determine a customer's potential;
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers;
- Manage regional machine rental agreements end to end, including all correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure professional verbal presentation of proposals/quotations, with a controlled and confident 'closing' plan;
- Achieve weekly customers phone contacts, in-person appointments, cold calling and new business targets;
- Submit all required Sales documentation with accuracy and in a timely manner, ensuring that internal process is followed managing the Sale/ Rental transaction end to end.
- Liaise with Sales Administration regarding Sales documentation and machines deliveries;
To be considered you must have the following:
A strong mechanical background and aptitude, deep knowledge and experience within crushing and screening applications (with a minimum of 5 years’ experience).
- Unencumbered driver’s license.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to operate with the MS Office suite (VISIO) including Outlook.
- Ability to provide application advice via Agg-Flow to internal and external customers.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills, proven ability to develop rapport with others and form lasting working relationships.
- Advanced communication skills, proven ability to convey information in both verbal and written formats as appropriate for the needs of the target audience.
- Clear problem solver, apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems and their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution.
- High level of organisational skills, including high attention to detail.
- Significant prior experience &/or Cert. IV in training & assessment.
The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
