We're looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our growing education and sensory toy business. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a supportive team, and take pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
Located in Melbourne's inner north, The Therapy Store is a family owned company that provides hospitals, schools, therapists and families with a range of products that assist in the education, development and enjoyment of children and young adults.
As Warehouse Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse environment, helping us deliver an excellent experience to our customers Australia wide.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Replenishing stock and maintaining organised warehouse storage
- Labelling, sorting and preparing products for dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Operating warehouse equipment (training provided where required)
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Experienced in a warehouse environment
- A current forklift licence is an advantage but not required
