The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Data Analyst to deliver actionable reporting and insights for stakeholders, while also mentoring the team, guiding best practices, and contributing to the ongoing BI and reporting landscape at Accent Group.
This role blends delivery and innovation. You’ll own core business reporting, work closely with stakeholders, and advocate for practical BI solutions that create real business value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build quality data assets, from data exploration through to actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
- Own and optimise our BI ecosystem and reporting landscape, including Qlik Sense, SSAS, data marts, and dashboards
- Manage the relationship with our reporting vendor to develop and maintain critical reports and dashboards
- Work hands-on with SQL, Azure, and Databricks to shape and transform data
- Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver impactful reporting and analytics solutions
- Drive data quality, governance, and continuous improvement across analytics and reporting
- Identify BI and AI use cases that unlock value through increased productivity and improved customer experience
To be successful you will ideally have:
- Demonstrated 5+ years in data analytics, BI engineering or related roles
- Strong SQL skills and experience in Azure-based data platforms
- Proven experience working in retail analytics, with deep understanding of trading, inventory, and customer performance metrics
- The ability to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Qlik Sense and SSAS / semantic models
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Knowledge and exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies (advantageous)
