About the Role
Reporting to a highly experienced, supportive Service Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations. Working closely with four Foremen, you'll drive productivity, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support our Workshop Foremen across daily operations
- Coordinate workshop workflow and allocate repair orders effectively
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and workshop profitability
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Coach, mentor, and develop Foremen, technicians, and apprentices
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the Service Manager to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain workshop standards, compliance requirements, and safety expectations
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive, engaged team culture

About You
You are a confident leader who enjoys building great teams and achieving results.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician
- Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Strong leadership experience managing and motivating teams
- A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service
- A current Australian driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
- Dealership experience will be highly regarded
