MPower is growing our renewable energy portfolio, and we're looking for a Senior Project Engineer to help deliver our projects from the ground up.
About the role
As Senior Project Engineer, you'll take ownership of the technical and operational delivery of our renewable energy projects, from interpreting engineering drawings and specifications through to commissioning. You'll be the connective tissue between design, construction, and compliance, working closely with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to make sure our projects land on time, on budget, and to the standard we hold ourselves to.
What you'll be doing
- Address complex engineering challenges related to design, panel layout, and integration of battery storage or other technologies.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering documentation, technical drawings, and specifications for internal teams and external approvals.
- Support grid connection requirements and interface with relevant stakeholders during technical design and commissioning.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications for solar and battery storage installations
- Liaising with engineers, technical specialists and contractors to keep projects moving
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets
- Developing and implementing coordinated work programs across various renewable energy sites
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations including safety, environmental, and quality
- Overseeing contracted and subcontracted specialised works and performance and against program
Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
