Hourly Rate: $35.13 per hour + penalties + superannuation + salary packaging

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers | Care Service Employees to join our 138-bed residential aged care home in Inverell, NSW.

About the role
-
Assisting residents with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
-
Supporting residents with mobility, transfers and positioning
-
Assisting residents during mealtimes and helping create a positive dining experience
-
Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
-
Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene and infection control
-
Working closely with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team
-
Supporting residents with compassion, patience and respect at all times
About you
-
Certificate III in Individual Support
-
Previous experience in residential aged care
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to safely perform manual handling duties
-
Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
-
Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
-
Two recent managerial referees
-
Full working rights in Australia

Have full unrestricted working rights — sponsorship is not available

Be willing to complete a National Criminal History Check

Be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with aged care requirements
