About this role
As an Executive Assistant in our Perth Audit and Assurance team, you will play a key role in effective day-to-day operations and provide intuitive support to our Partners and our broader Audit team.
Displaying a high level of initiative, multi-tasking and adapting quickly to last-minute changes, you will proactively anticipate the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise, demonstrating agility and responsiveness in a dynamic professional services environment.
Please note that this is a maximum-term parental leave cover contract opportunity, ending on 18 December 2026.
Key responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to four Partners and the broader Audit team
Manage inboxes, calendars and schedule meetings and events
Coordinate and manage travel, accommodation, and other related tasks
Assist with client onboarding in Salesforce, working closely with our Client Acceptance team
Manage and maintain databases and systems, including regular updates in Salesforce CRM
Preparation and formatting of documents and correspondence in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines
Assist in the preparation of regulator documentation
Assist with business development, including proposal preparation, contact mapping and tracking of BD activities
Support monthly billing processes and process invoices in WPR
Process Partner expenses in Concur
Provide general administrative and ad hoc support as required
Skills and experience
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant within a corporate or professional services environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels
Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
