About the Opportunity
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee and shape the delivery of Diagnostic Cardiology services across the Central Coast Local Health District, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care while leading a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites.
In this role you will:

Lead the clinical and operational management of Diagnostic Cardiology services across Gosford and Wyong hospitals, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Provide expert cardiac diagnostic imaging services and support the implementation of contemporary models of care that improve patient outcomes.

Manage, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Drive service improvement through the development and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols that align with best practice and regulatory requirements.

Oversee financial, resource and asset management activities, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, equipment management and vendor relationships.

Work closely with clinicians, patients, carers and external stakeholders to coordinate services, optimise performance and meet the growing needs of the community.

About You
You are an experienced and influential healthcare leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional cardiac diagnostic services, developing high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement in patient care.
We are looking for someone who has:

Extensive clinical experience in diagnostic cardiology, supported by relevant qualifications or demonstrated expertise in cardiac ultrasound and cardiac diagnostic procedures.

Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites.

Strong experience in service planning, quality improvement and the development and implementation of policies, procedures and innovative models of care.

Demonstrated financial and resource management skills, including budgeting, asset management and the effective utilisation of workforce and equipment resources.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, patients, carers and external partners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
