We are currently seeking passionate, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across a range of SIL and community-based support roles.
We have several opportunities available, with the ability to build consistent hours for the right candidates. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy supporting participants to live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.
Current opportunities include
1:1 SIL Support – Young Male Participant
A 1:1 SIL environment supporting a 22-year-old male with Level 2 Autism and complex OCD. He thrives on routine, consistency and building strong relationships with staff who share similar interests. This role would suit someone who is patient, reliable and enjoys developing genuine rapport with participants. The support ratio is expected to transition to 1:2 in the near future.
1:2 SIL Support – Complex Mental Health
Supporting two participants with ADHD and complex mental health needs, including Borderline Personality Disorder and complex trauma. This role would suit someone with experience or a strong interest in mental health, trauma-informed support and complex behaviours.
1:2 SIL Support – Diabetes & Complex Behaviours
Supporting two participants with Type 2 Diabetes, including following individual Mealtime Management Plans, medication/support requirements and positive behaviour support strategies. Experience with diabetes and complex behaviours would be highly regarded.
1:1 Cleaning Support – Multiple Locations
We have regular cleaning requirements within participants’ homes, ranging from weekly to monthly cleans. We would love to build a consistent roster for someone who enjoys cleaning and would like regular hours across multiple locations.
1:1 Support – Young Male Participant
Supporting a young male with complex behaviours who is transitioning back into school. We are looking for someone reliable and consistent who is willing to commit to regular hours and become part of a strong, supportive team around the participant.
What we are looking for
We are currently hiring on a casual basis and are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Have availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Are available for a minimum of 2 sleepover shifts
- Have availability Monday and Tuesday, with additional availability highly regarded
- Are reliable, consistent and genuinely passionate about disability support
- Are comfortable supporting participants with complex behaviours and/or mental health needs
- Are willing to build strong, respectful relationships with participants and their support teams
- Have a willingness to learn and develop their skills
Mandatory requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 6 months experience in the NDIS field
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Current Police Check
- Certificate III in Individual Support, or have commenced the qualification / be willing to obtain it
