Cadence Connect is once again partnering with our Tier1 client in the Allied Health sector, to source an experienced Merchandise Systems and Data professional for a 3-6 month contract. Based in Brisbane's inner-city fringe, this role will backfill the team's promotions SME, who is focusing on a major systems enhancement project.
The role
You will take ownership of business-as-usual activities across merchandise and promotional data, working to reduce operational backlog and ensure data accuracy and integrity across key systems. This is a hands-on role working closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain data quality, support reporting, and keep promotional and merchandise information accurate across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update merchandise, promotional, and product data across enterprise systems
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Support promotional setup, validation, and execution activities
- Maintain reports to support business operations and decision-making
- Assist in clearing existing system and data backlogs
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to investigate issues
- Conduct data validation, auditing, and integrity checks
- Provide general systems, operational, and administrative support
About you
- Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets
- Strong Excel skills - lookups, pivot tables, data cleansing, and analysis
- Experience in merchandise, retail, eCommerce, or enterprise systems (Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Able to learn new systems quickly and work independently
- Well-developed stakeholder management and communication skills
