Junior Account Manager (Events)
Newtown, Sydney (Office-Based)
Full-Time | Permanent, Monday to Friday Role
$56,000–$60,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus commission.
About the Role
The Business Show Australia is seeking a Junior Account Manager to join our team in Newtown.
This is can be an entry-level position with training provided. The successful candidate will support exhibitors throughout the planning and delivery of our business events, working closely with internal teams to ensure a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding process for exhibitors through phone and video meetings.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with exhibitors.
- Coordinate contracts, required documentation and key project deadlines.
- Follow up on invoices and outstanding payments where required.
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to support event delivery.
- Provide support during live events, including occasional travel where required.
- Maintain accurate client records and communications.
About You
We welcome applicants with experience in customer-facing or administrative roles, including:
- Administration
- Customer service
- Reception
- Call centre or client support
- Other client-facing positions
You will also have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A professional and proactive approach to your work.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in account management or the events industry is not essential, as training will be provided.
