Jumping Jim’s is growing, and we’re looking for a fun, reliable and enthusiastic Early Childhood Movement Coach to join our supportive team.
This role is ideal for early childhood educators, university students, teachers, sports coaches, fitness professionals, or anyone who loves working with children and promoting active, healthy lifestyles.
About Jumping Jim’s:
Jumping Jim’s delivers structured movement and sports programs to children aged 1-6 years within Early Learning Centres and Family Day Care settings.
Our programs focus on developing confidence, coordination, social skills, teamwork and a lifelong love of movement through fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
About the Role:
You will travel to Early Learning Centres and Family Day Care homes to deliver our structured movement programs to children aged 1-6 years.
This role is much more than simply coaching sport. Our coaches create positive, nurturing and engaging experiences that support children’s physical, social and emotional development.
You will work independently throughout the day, travelling between services and delivering high-energy classes while representing Jumping Jim’s in a professional manner.
Travel between centres is paid.
Typical Duties:
- Deliver engaging movement and sports sessions to children aged 1-6 years.
- Follow and deliver our ready-made programs and lesson plans.
- Build positive relationships with children, educators, families and centre directors.
- Manage children’s behaviour positively and confidently.
- Complete daily administrative tasks including session recaps, timesheets and coach checklists.
- Maintain accurate attendance and time records.
- Communicate regularly with the office team regarding schedules and centre feedback.
- Travel independently between multiple centres throughout the day.
- Represent Jumping Jim’s in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner at all times.
Where We Operate
We deliver programs across a large region from the Gold Coast, through Logan and Brisbane, and north to the Moreton Bay and Caboolture regions.
We are currently seeking applicants located in Brisbane, Logan (Springwood and north), Moreton Bay or surrounding areas who are willing to travel between centres.
Our administration office is based in Coomera.

Experience working with children is highly regarded but not essential. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Pay Rates
Pay rates are in accordance with the MA000094 Fitness Industry Award and will vary depending on age, qualifications and experience.
Job Type
Casual 5-25 hours per week. Hours are dependent on the candidate.
Please note: This role involves driving between centres and is best suited to applicants based in Brisbane, Logan or the Moreton Bay region.
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
