The Opportunity
Use your operations and maintenance skills to help keep essential recycled water infrastructure running safely and reliably.
Veolia is seeking an Operator Maintainer to join our Water team at the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant in Pinkenba 4008.
This is a varied, hands on role combining plant operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, sampling and first-line maintenance. You’ll work as part of an experienced team supporting the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project.

What you'll be responsible for
Monitor plant operations and respond to SCADA alarms
Troubleshoot plant, equipment and process issues
Carry out routine and breakdown maintenance
Maintain pumps, motors, pipelines and other process equipment
Collect samples and complete basic laboratory analysis
Support plant commissioning and optimisation activities
Complete operational records and update maintenance systems
Participate in the operations on-call roster
What you'll need to be successful
Experience operating or maintaining water treatment or similar process plant equipment
Hands on experience with pumps, motors, pipelines or mechanical equipment
Knowledge of PLC or SCADA systems
