Senior Recruitment Consultant - Mining & Manufacturing

As our blue-collar business continues to gain momentum, and with a senior recruiter relocating overseas mid-year, this role offers the chance to take ownership of a proven platform and help shape the next stage of the division.
About the role
This is a senior, delivery-focused role offering both security and genuine opportunity.
You’ll take ownership of an established portfolio of mining clients, recruiting across metropolitan and FIFO roles including trades and mobile and fixed plant operators. The desk is warm and well supported, with immediate work available, but it suits someone who wants to actively lift capability rather than simply maintain what’s already there.

There is scope to contribute to business development where it makes sense, but there are no formal BD targets. You’ll also play a role in mentoring and supporting other recruiters as the team grows, helping shape how the blue-collar function operates.
The recruiter currently managing this desk has more than doubled their earnings over the past 12 months through consistent delivery and relationship development. With them moving on, you’ll be able to step straight into a warm, well-supported desk, taking over established roles and client relationships and continuing to build on the strong foundations already in place
Key responsibilities
- Ownership of established mining owner client relationships
- End-to-end recruitment of FIFO and metro trades and operators
- Building and maintaining a high-quality contractor workforce
- Developing a strong understanding of roles, sites, and operating environments
- Improving sourcing methods and database capability
- Mentoring and supporting recruiters within the blue-collar team
About you
- Proven experience recruiting blue-collar roles (mining / resources preferred)
- Strong delivery mindset with pride in quality outcomes
- Comfortable managing key accounts and long-term client relationships
- Interested in shaping and growing a function, not just running a desk
- Takes the time to understand roles properly rather than relying on keywords
- Commercially aware, organised, and self-driven
Remuneration
- Base salary $80,000 – $100,000 + super
- Percentage of margin commission with no threshold

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
