Sanctum Services is a leading provider of community mental health services, specializing in delivering compassionate and tailored care to individuals with mental health disabilities under the NDIS. Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health related disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. This position offers flexibility, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, or casual employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as cleaning, dressing, and meal preparation
- Support participants in achieving their individual goals and enhancing their quality of life
- Assist with community access, social participation, and recreational activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Implement care plans in line with participant needs and NDIS goals
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for participants
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and NDIS coordinators to deliver holistic care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in caring for people with Autism
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or relevant experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in community mental health (preferred)
- Must be able to drive/transport clients

Pay: $34.00 – $37.00 per hour
