The Land Use and Building Services Section responsible for the coordination and activation of public unleased land use in the Territory. The Land Use team issue public unleased land permits as part of a legislative regime that regulates the use and activities associated with public unleased land. The objective of the legislation is to protect the amenity and natural value of public unleased land and facilitate the use of the land.
You will be responsible for the delivery of quality advice, undertaking application assessments, and making decisions to determine the suitability of activities and applicants for public unleased land permits in accordance with the relevant frameworks. You will work in a fast-paced environment supported by an enthusiastic, professional team.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 28 February 2027 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
