Male Disability Support Worker – Shepparton, VIC
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred support to a participant in Shepparton, VIC.
The successful candidate will support the participant with daily living activities, community access, and other individual support needs while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred disability support
- Assist with daily living and in-home support activities
- Support community access and participation in social activities
- Encourage independence and support the participant to achieve their goals
- Follow individual support plans and NDIS guidelines
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide respectful, reliable support
- Complete required documentation and shift notes
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Male Support Worker
- Based in or near Shepparton, VIC
- Experienced in disability support or community services
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a support team
- Able to communicate effectively and build a positive rapport with participants
- Flexible and reliable with rostered shifts
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC), if applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Police Check
- Relevant disability or community services qualification is highly regarded
- Valid Australian working rights
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle are highly desirable
