FinXL is seeking a Scrum Master to join our Agile Practice and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a 6+ months contract in Sydney CBD and some days in Norwest.
Advance your consulting career and join the FinXL Agile Practice as a Scrum Master for a pivotal Banking engagement. You will work as the hands-on facilitator for delivery teams migrating core applications from on-premise to cloud environments while driving automation and infrastructure modernization. Support key long-term programs of work! Automation, infrastructure modernisation and migrating apps from on-prem to the cloud.

Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies to ensure efficient, outcome-oriented delivery aligned with key milestones.

Manage cross-team dependencies across complex enterprise programs and collaborate with key delivery leaders.

Protect delivery teams from external distractions and unmanaged scope creep to maintain steady velocity.

Maintain alignment with internal risk, audit, security, and governance frameworks across all delivery streams.

Coach teams on Agile principles and drive retrospectives toward continuous, measurable process improvements.

Proven track record as a Scrum Master within large, complex corporate environments such as banking or government.

Practical experience supporting infrastructure modernization, automation, and application migrations to the cloud.

Strong knowledge of core Scrum, Kanban, and enterprise scaling frameworks such as SAFe.

Demonstrated ability to manage inter-departmental dependencies and navigate high-standard governance and risk settings.

Expertise in helping Product Owners refine backlogs, user stories, and robust Definition of Done criteria.

Experience fostering quality engineering practices including continuous integration and automated testing.

Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and servant leadership capabilities.

6+ months contract with a Banking client.

Hybrid working model with 3 office days per week in Sydney CBD and some days in Norwest.
