As Head of Futures Execution, Australia, you will lead a high-performing execution desk responsible for delivering exceptional client outcomes across domestic and international futures and listed derivatives markets. You will oversee the day-to-day management, supervision and performance of the Australian desk, while partnering closely with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology and global execution teams. This is an important leadership role combining client engagement, business growth, risk management and people leadership, with accountability for the performance and ongoing development of the Australian Futures Execution business.
You will be responsible for leading the Australian Futures Execution Desk and driving a high-performance culture and delivering best execution outcomes for institutional, corporate and wholesale clients. You will build and maintain trusted client relationships and support business growth initiatives, whilst identifying market opportunities and providing insight on market developments and client needs. You will manage desk performance, capacity and operational effectiveness, ensure strong risk management, supervision and control practices and oversee compliance with ASIC, ASX and other applicable regulatory requirements.
You will also partner with Technology and Operations teams to enhance workflows and client experience. You will also be responsible for developing, mentoring and retaining high-performing execution professionals alongside delivering sustainable revenue growth and commercial outcomes for the Australian business.
