We are currently recruiting for a young participants who is in our care and inviting experienced support workers to apply. The positions are in the Eight Miles Plains, Ipswich and Lockyer Valley area.
The Ideal candidate should have experience in at least 2 or more of the following:
- Ventilation
- NGT feeding or PEG feeding
- Management of Flocare pumps
- Medication administration
- Oxygen Therapy
- Seizure management
- Tracheostomy
- Hoisting
The person we are looking for:
- passionate about working with vulnerable people
- able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week,
- able to work mornings, afternoon and weekends.
- Open drivers license and able to drive participants.
- Be a Team Player.
- good communication skills.
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate 3 and above in Disability or individual support OR aged care
- Over 12 months experience
- Knowing how to treat a child like a child. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
- Proof of covid and most recent influenza vaccination (this is a request by the parents)
- Females only as per parents and client requests.
- Payrates are based on the SCHADS Award Social- Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.
Pay: $67,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
