Our client is seeking experienced Freedom of Information (FOI) Officers/Lawyers to work on secondment with a high profile federal government department.
The successful candidates will be required to:
- undertake reviews of FOI matters from initial receipt to decision making accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act) and our client’s FOI Business Rules;
- liaise and engage with key stakeholders including other government agencies; and
- have strong analytical skills and attention to detail to enable you to effectively and pragmatically review potentially moderately complex FOI cases.
Previous experience working as an FOI Officer/Lawyer in a federal government department, knowledge and understanding of the FOI Act and a Baseline clearance is essential.
