The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills, and experience against these essential role requirements of the Team Leader leadership stream:
Experience and demonstrated skill leading and managing a team including the application of human resource management processes
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, respond to new and unexpected events and appropriately escalate issues
Experience in the criminal justice environment including the interpretation and application of legislation, policy and practice directives in an operational environment is preferable or alternatively possess a similar work experience that demonstrates your ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge
Ability to manage governance and oversight systems, and experience in quality assurance
Ability to build and manage relationships with peers, team members, internal and external stakeholders
Ability to promote and maintain a learning environment where staff development is valued and supported and seen as an integral feature of the work environment
