Farm Hand - Machine Operator – Permanent Full Time [Kangara, Renmark & Solora]
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Farm Hand - Machinery Operators to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity, undertaking a range of tasks across our farms at Murtho, Renmark and Solora. The roles require proactive individuals who can work autonomously and take ownership of daily responsibilities to ensure smooth farm operations. The positions offer an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about practical, outdoor work and machinery operation.
Farm Hand - Machinery Operators are responsible for the safe operation of a range of tractor and implement activities across the farm, including slashing, pruning, mulching, and spraying.
What you will be doing

Machinery operations in slashing, pruning, mulching, spraying, and pest control
-
Equipment pre-start checks
-
Chemical handling and mixing.
-
Basic recording of work performed.

Supporting team operations through effective communication.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Willingness to work outdoors with excellent attendance and a positive attitude
- Basic mechanical aptitude to support prestart checks and identification of machinery issues.

Capacity to undertake moderate physical activity, including regular walking, lifting (up to 25kg fertiliser bags), bending, and reaching

Availability to work a regular roster, including weekends
-
Agricultural or horticultural experience (desirable but not essential)

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Ability to work autonomously and follow instructions

Strong attention to detail

Basic literacy and English language skills

Current driver’s licence
