About the Role
Looking to build your administration career in a purpose-driven organisation? This is an excellent opportunity to join icare's Workers Compensation Claims team and play an important role supporting the delivery of services that make a difference to the people of NSW.
As an Administration Assistant, you'll provide essential support across claims operations through document management, invoice processing, stakeholder communication and administrative coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is confident using technology and takes pride in providing great customer service.
You'll join a collaborative team where you'll develop valuable insurance and claims experience while building strong administration and communication skills.

Duties
It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as an Administration Assistant you will:
- Provide administration and claims support to the Workers Compensation team
- Manage inbound and outbound phone enquiries and ensure stakeholders receive timely assistance
- Process invoices and complete routine financial administration activities
- Prepare, update and maintain documents, records and correspondence accurately
- Support document management activities to ensure information is stored and maintained correctly
- Respond to enquiries and coordinate administrative tasks that support claims operations
- Maintain databases and systems to ensure information remains accurate and accessible
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration, customer service or office support experience
- Confidence managing inbound and outbound telephone interactions professionally
- Strong typing speed and accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Sound computer skills with proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Experience managing documents, records and administrative processes
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Workers Compensation, insurance or claims administration experience will be highly regarded
- A positive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
