If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Join our Precinct Operations team as the Manager Precinct Operations, where you you’ll help shape the way people move through some of NSW’s most significant transport precincts, leading the planning and delivery of integrated operational transport solutions that improve network performance, connectivity and customer outcomes.
You’ll provide strategic advice and technical expertise across complex projects, ensuring transport services, infrastructure and operational priorities come together to support better outcomes for communities across the state.
You’ll lead the development of precinct operations plans, strategies and business cases that are informed by data, evidence and stakeholder insights. Bringing together a broad range of stakeholders, you’ll drive coordinated operational planning outcomes that enhance safety, accessibility and the overall customer experience while supporting the successful delivery of major projects and network initiatives.
You’ll be trusted to manage and navigate competing demands and influence decisions at all levels of the organisation. At the same time, you’ll play an important role in developing capability across the team by sharing your expertise, mentoring others and encouraging innovative approaches to solving transport challenges.
You will:
- Lead precinct operations planning and transport integration activities for major projects and network initiatives.
- Develop strategic plans, business cases and recommendations that support network and place-based objectives.
- Manage complex planning projects, ensuring risks, milestones and deliverables are effectively managed.
- Provide expert advice and practical solutions that improve safety, accessibility and customer outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across Transport for NSW, government agencies and external stakeholders to achieve coordinated outcomes.
- Use data, research and stakeholder feedback to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to strategic discussions and provide high-quality advice on complex transport and precinct challenges.
- Support the growth of team capability through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
We currently have 1 x Permanent Full-Time position, and 1 x Temporary Part-Time position up to 12 months duration available, both offering hybrid working options from our Elizabeth Street Sydney office.
