About Our Role
Our Provisional Fellow in Neurology (Neurogenetics and/or Parkinson’s Disease) provides clinical and genetic services to patients with neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders and mitochondrial disorders. The position includes a research component. The position will be supervised in collaboration with clinical and research staff at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) and Prince of Wales Hospital’s Department of Neurology.
Your Primary Location
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Services is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre based on the Randwick Hospitals Campus. We provide excellent healthcare to SESLHD and specialist health and medical services to NSW.
Our hospital is affiliated with Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) and the University of New South Wales. We provide premier medical facilities that enable our staff to provide excellence in healthcare in conjunction with commitment to quality clinical teaching and medical research.
NeuRA is a leading medical research institute and significant neuroscience precinct in NSW. Based at the Margarete Ainsworth Building on campus, NeuRA commandeers research from advances in dementia and mental health to discoveries in chronic pain and falls prevention.
